Job description

Turbine Controls Ltd is a leading manufacturer of control systems for Gas and steam turbines. The company is internationally renowned and has a large portfolio of multi-national customers. A position has become vacant in the Sales Department for a Tendering Engineer.
Turbine Controls Ltd, a medium sized innovative controls company, requires a Technical Sales Engineer reporting to the Commercial Director. The duties of the role will focus on the business development of TCL within the UK and Europe and include:

Job Description:

• Preparing technical and commercial quotes and tenders for TCL products and services
• Technical and commercial discussions during the tender phase
• Handover of the sales orders to the Projects Dept.
• Assisting with product development R&D
• Visits to clients during the tendering phase

Person Specification:

Experience:

• 3 years experience in a technical engineering role such as design or project management.
• 2 years experience in a tendering/sales role
• Experience of industrial control systems, PLC/SCADA
• Experience in Power Gen or Oil and Gas industry

Qualification:

• Min HNC Elec/Mech. Engineering
• An individual who has a strong practical engineering background

Practical experience in a Gas or Steam turbine environment is desirable, this may have been office or site based.
