Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Actemium Automation Nottingham is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team!

About the role

As a Tendering Engineer at AA Nottingham, you will be crucial in our project lifecycle. You will assist in creating tenders, sourcing directly, and collaborating with Project Managers.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting tenders: Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to create competitive proposals.
• Cost estimation: Analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and provide estimates.
• Technical understanding: Understand client specifications and translate them into technical proposals.
• Risk assessment: Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Client communication: Engage with clients during the tender process, addressing queries and ensuring clarity.

The Person

• Engineering background: Degree in Electrical or related field.
• Proven experience in tendering, preferably in automation or related engineering projects.
• Understanding of Automation, particularly Allen Bradley and Siemens industrial Control Systems.
• Attention to detail: Ability to analyze complex requirements and create precise proposals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn new skills and knowledge.
