We are seeking a Tender Manager to lead bids for HVDC Control & Protection systems. This role involves multiple interfaces and engaging tasks, offering significant learning and development opportunities on future projects worldwide. Our team culture is flexible, transparent, and collaborative.

You will be an integral part of a diverse, high-paced tender management team during a period of increased demand for our solutions, supporting clients in achieving environmental targets.

Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom. Please note we cannot provide visa support for this position.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Deliver bids for Control & Protection systems for HVDC installations, ensuring adherence to processes, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Plan and communicate tender needs to the HVDC Control and Protection management team.
• Represent Control & Protection in customer interactions, leading discussions and negotiations.
• Monitor tender progress and perform continuous follow-up on scope and timelines.
• Foster a team culture of collaboration, accountability, trust, and transparency.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Previous experience with HVDC projects.
• Experience in design and testing of control systems.
• Interest or skills in industrial application development and programming.
• Knowledge of automation, simulation, and modeling (real-time or offline) is advantageous.
• Structured, driven, and innovative in improving processes and generating ideas.
• Ability to network, value human relations, and work independently towards deadlines.
• Experience in project and bid management, with comfort in customer interactions and technical negotiations.
• Knowledge of UK Gridcodes/standards is a plus.
