Tenancy Support Worker
Location: Buxton - out in the community
Hours: 30 hours
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm

Role Overview

This is a part-time Tenancy Support Worker role based in Buxton, supporting service users at risk of homelessness. Your role will involve providing support to help individuals access benefits and sustain their tenancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing practical and emotional support to promote independence and recovery
  • Responding to challenging behavior to promote wellbeing
  • Supporting individuals at risk of homelessness
  • Providing a responsive and effective support service
  • Liaising with referral teams and agencies

Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge

  • Passion and desire to support vulnerable adults and those at risk of homelessness
  • A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
  • A DBS check on the update service
  • Experience working with young people or adults with learning disabilities or mental health issues
  • Transferable skills to support vulnerable adults
