Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to support civil engineering works on a major rail infrastructure project at Leiston (Sizewell C Rail Scheme). The role involves coordinating temporary works across civils and rail activities, interfacing between design and construction teams, and maintaining the Temporary Works Register.

Requirements include Network Rail project experience, CITB TWC cert, PTS, CSCS, and BS5975 knowledge; A HNC/HND or Civil Engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Temporary Works Coordinator on Network Rail civil engineering projects.
• CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator certification and PTS.
• BS5975 knowledge and CSCS Card ownership.
• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate temporary works across civil and rail construction activities.
• Act as interface between design and construction delivery teams.
• Manage the Temporary Works Register and lifecycle inspections.
• Review temporary works design briefs and ensure program alignment.
• Ensure designs comply with BS5975 and safety procedures.
• Support site teams with planning, sequencing and risk management.
