As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theMarine and Tunnels Section.
The Sizewell C (SZC) project requires a Temporary Works Design Manager to take a role in the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Marine and Tunnelling Portion, Engineering and Technical Team, ensuring technical delivery of complex designs across these interfaces with an emphasis on ensuring construction feasibility.
The role requires management of development and implementation of temporary work design proposals ensuring they meet requirements including interface coordination with permanent works, ensuring buildability and acceptance from construction delivery teams, budget constraints, and presenting proposals for client approval. The project team includes people internal to the CWA, lead design consultant(s), internal and external temporary work designer(s), and subcontractors.
