Job summary

RGB Network, a specialist civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Warrington, is looking for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. You will join a technically strong team delivering temporary works solutions across the UK construction industry with hybrid working and flexible hours.

You’ll design and analyse temporary works structures, produce calculations and drawings, liaise with contractors, and support delivery from concept to site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in temporary works, structural or civil design.
• Good understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Ability to produce clear calculations and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of temporary works structures and solutions.
• Produce detailed calculations, drawings and technical design packages.
• Develop practical and cost-efficient designs with buildability in mind.
• Undertake design checks and support technical assurance.
• Liaise closely with contractors and construction teams.
• Provide technical input from concept through to delivery on site.
• Work with engineers and technicians to deliver coordinated design information.
