Job summary

RGB Network in Manchester is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of temporary works projects. The role involves complex schemes including facade retention, needling and propping, and larger basement propping, with on-site responsibilities.

You will manage junior engineers and support Associates, applying sound engineering judgement to influence design and delivery. A strong grounding in retaining wall design and design software is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of facade retention, needling and propping, basement propping, plan bracing and crash decks.
• Able to apply engineering judgement to influence design and delivery.
• Thorough understanding of embedded retaining wall design.
• Proficient with a range of design software.

Responsibilities
