Office Angels is seeking a dependable Cleaner for a temporary role in Shepton Mallet with a potential move to permanent for the right candidate. You will maintain a clean and safe environment in offices and facilities, working Monday to Thursday evenings. Competitive hourly rate and weekly pay are offered.

The position supports a manufacturing site with responsibilities including surface cleaning, emptying bins, and adhering to COSHH and health & safety guidelines. Immediate start available.

HOURLY RATE:

£12.71 - £13.00 per hour

HOURS:

Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm/4:00pm - 6:00pm

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Shepton Mallet. In this important role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the office and workplace facilities. This is a temporary opportunity for a minimum of 12 weeks, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wipe desks, tables, shelves, and windowsills
• Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard floors
• Empty all bins and replace liners
• Disinfect door handles, light switches, and handrails
• Wipe interior glass doors and partitions to remove smudges
• Clean and disinfect toilets and sinks
• Shine mirrors, metal fixtures, and countertops
• Refill toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and sanitiser
• Wipe down kitchen worktops and tables.
• Wipe the exterior of microwaves, fridges, and kettles
• Track cleaning product levels and report shortages
• Notify management of maintenance problems like broken lights or leaking taps
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and chemical handling rules (such as COSHH regulations in the UK
