Job summary

Concept Resources is seeking a Cleaning Operative to service a modern commercial office in Shrewsbury. This part-time role offers evening hours (Mon-Fri, 4:30pm–6:45pm), 11.25 hours per week, with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity and weekly pay. The successful candidate will work independently to maintain high cleanliness standards in a professional setting.

Pay rate is £13.45 per hour (PAYE). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be comfortable as a lone worker and key holder

About the Role

We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a modern commercial office in Shrewsbury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness while working independently in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General office cleaning
  
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  
• Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
  
• Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
  
• Working safely in accordance with all site procedures
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Comfortable working as a lone worker where required
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and using an alarm system where applicable
  
• Right to work in the UK
