Job summary

Select Appointments are recruiting a reliable Cleaner for a part-time role near Wymondham (Hethel). You will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment with hours 1:30pm–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

This Temp to Perm opportunity offers regular ongoing work in a busy manufacturing setting, with support from a dedicated Select Recruitment consultant and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and manage cleaning tasks.
• Positive attitude and willingness to follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising production, packing and warehouse areas to a high standard.
• Sweeping, mopping and maintaining floors throughout the site.
• Cleaning work surfaces, equipment and food-contact areas in line with hygiene procedures.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and correctly.
• Cleaning staff facilities including toilets, kitchens, canteen and communal areas.
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Carrying out regular cleaning checks and reporting any hygiene or maintenance issues.
• Supporting the wider team with general housekeeping duties when required.
