Job summary

Active Learning Trust is seeking a Class Teacher at Highfield Littleport Academy on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on delivering inclusive teaching for pupils with EHCPs and supporting their growth in confidence and achievement.

• Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the individual needs of pupils with EHCPs.
• Assess, record and report on pupils’ progress, contributing to reviews and IEPs.
• Create a safe, well-managed learning environment that supports positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Work with support staff, colleagues, parents and external professionals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and professional learning within the school.
