Job summary

Highfield Littleport Academy seeks an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to lead alongside the Headteacher, shaping an ambitious curriculum and ensuring outstanding provision for pupils aged 2-19. The role combines strategic vision with warmth and resilience to develop others and strengthen collaboration within the academy.

The post focuses on improving teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes while safeguarding and leading on inclusive practices for SEND EHCP needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Headteacher in providing strategic leadership and driving the academy’s improvement priorities.
  • Lead and develop staff, promoting high standards, professional growth and effective performance.
  • Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning, assessment and pupil outcomes across the academy.
  • Help deliver an ambitious, inclusive curriculum that meets pupils’ SEND and EHCP needs.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding leadership and deputise for the Headteacher when required.

Salary: Leadership L16 - L20 (£75,049 - £82,654)

We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to help lead our specialist SEND school through its next stage of development, working alongside the Headteacher to deliver outstanding provision for pupils aged 2-19.
