Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a temporary Service Accountant to join a well-established finance team in the Banbury area. The role focuses on month-end activities, VAT returns, and ongoing financial processing in a busy environment.

Candidates should have strong VAT knowledge, Excel and finance systems proficiency, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. The assignment is initially around one month, with potential for extension and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance position
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and return preparation
• Excellent financial processing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently

• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
