Job summary

Pertemps Banbury is seeking an experienced Service Accountant to join a well-established organisation on a temporary basis in the Banbury area. The role is full-time with standard hours and an immediate start.

You will perform balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end support, with a focus on accuracy and strong Excel skills. The assignment is initially around one month with potential to extend.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance position.
• Strong reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and return preparation.
• Excellent financial processing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently.

• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
