Job summary

Howden is seeking an SEO Specialist to join the Digital Customer Experience team in London on a 9–12 month maternity cover. You will implement and maintain the international SEO strategy to boost organic visibility, working with marketing, content, developers and product owners.

We’re looking for at least 4 years of SEO experience, including hands-on migration work, a data-driven approach, and a collaborative mindset. The role is hybrid, with office attendance two days per week on average.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of SEO experience.
• Experience with website migrations is desirable.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the rollout and maintenance of the international SEO strategy across markets.
• Collaborate with content and marketing to ensure user-first, SEO-optimised content.
• Conduct data-led site audits and provide actionable insights to boost organic visibility.
• Carry out technical and on-page updates in the CMS, including URL changes and metadata improvements.
• Perform keyword, topic, and competitor research to inform content strategy and optimisation.
• Run test-and-learn activities and communicate findings across pages/sites.
• Keep content updated and ensure on-page and technical requirements are met.
• Analyze content performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor and report on SEO KPIs (traffic, rankings, clicks, leads).
• Contribute to team process improvements and share tools with colleagues.
