Job summary

Sports Direct in Skipton is hiring a Temporary Sales Assistant for the winter period. You’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and a customer-first approach to every shift, helping shoppers with product selections and maintaining a welcoming in-store environment.

You’ll engage with customers, use product knowledge to offer recommendations, and support your team to hit store goals. You may work weekends, evenings and holidays, with a dynamic, fast-paced retail setting.

Job Description

As a Temporary Sales Assistant for the winter period, you’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and customer focus to every shift. From helping customers with product selections to maintaining the look and feel of the store, you’ll contribute to a first-class shopping experience, all while gaining valuable skills and building your confidence in a fun, fast-moving retail environment.

• Engage with every customer to deliver outstanding service
• Use your product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations
• Support the team in delivering store goals
• Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment
• Support visual merchandising standards that reflect the Sports Direct brand

Operations

• Assist with deliveries and stock processing
• Ensure pricing is up-to-date and accurate
• Support stock counts and inventory accuracy
• To be available to work over the Summer period is a must (bank holidays, weekends and evenings)
