Job summary

JG Foods t/a Grape Tree Limited is seeking temporary Sales Assistants for our Doncaster store. The role focuses on delivering fast, friendly service, maintaining clean and stocked shelves, and ensuring customers leave with a positive brand impression.

You will report to the Store Manager and work up to 10 hours per week, with flexibility to cover store hours Monday to Sunday. Experience in food retail is preferred and £12.71 per hour is the upper rate depending on age.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service, ideally with experience in food retail.
• Organised & practically minded, able to roll up sleeves and get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Operate the till in accordance with company instructions and as directed by the manager.
• Provide the highest possible standard of customer service.
• Ensure shelves are well filled/stocked and faced at all times.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety in the store.
• Observe company rules at all times and report breaches.
• Co-operate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.
