Job summary

Sofidel UK is seeking a Quality Assistant at the Hamilton plant on a temporary maternity cover basis. The role supports the delivery of quality control laboratory activities and ensures accurate data to back production processes.

You will perform routine lab tests on raw materials and finished products, collaborate with Quality and Production teams, and develop hands-on knowledge of Sofidel's manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and carry out lab tests (raw materials and finished product) per procedures.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and cleanliness of tools.
• Streamline laboratory processes and maintain lab cleanliness.
• Analyse competitors’ products using defined methods.
• Perform and maintain laboratory equipment verifications and calibrations.
• Promote a safety-bound corporate culture.
• Apply the Corporate Principles and Values.
