Job summary

Sofidel UK is seeking a Quality Assistant for a temporary maternity cover at the Hamilton plant. You will support quality control laboratory activities, generating accurate data to back production decisions.

You will work with Quality and Production teams to ensure products meet high standards. Responsibilities include performing routine tests on materials and finished goods, maintaining lab equipment and inventories, and contributing to a safe, efficient lab environment while learning Sofidel's

Responsibilities

• Prepare and carry out lab tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure cleanliness of tools.
• Streamline laboratory processes and maintain lab hygiene.
• Analyse competitors’ products using defined methods.
• Perform and maintain all lab equipment verifications and calibrations.
• Promote a safety-focused corporate culture and values.
• Monitor and support quality control throughout production.
