Job summary

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of North Wales Police for a Logistics & Maintenance Operative in the Flintshire/Wrexham area. The role is temporary with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour, handling mail, vehicles, and supplies while performing basic caretaking and maintenance duties.

You will contribute to safety, security and efficient operations, with porter duties and routine building upkeep as part of a local team serving the community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work in community-focused public service environments.

Responsibilities

• Transport & movement of mail, archive material, documentation, vehicles, and supplies.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in buildings and grounds; log safety equipment.
• Monitor and maintain building fixtures, fittings and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Inspect grounds for slip/trip hazards and ensure cleanliness and security.
• Provide porter and handy person services, handling furniture and minor repairs.
