Job summary

Buckingham Park Primary School in West Sussex is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a caring, enthusiastic team. The role supports teaching and learning, assists with brief personal needs including First Aid, and may involve 1:1 or small group work with primary students.

The position is term-time only, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a temporary contract until July 2027.

8.30 a.m. to 15.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, including midday meals supervision, Term time only

Grade 4 Point 5-6: £13.70 - £13.92 per hour.

• Is prepared to support children with Special Educational Needs in small groups and /or in 1:1 situations

Candidates should ideally have a qualification for Teaching/Support Assistant and possess GCSE/’O’ Level in Mathematics and English, as well as being able to relate well to children. First Aid training would be desirable but not essential as training may be given.
