Temporary HR Generalist

Contract: Temporary (c9m)
Day rate: £180.00 - £200.00 per day
Location: Manchester City Centre
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5 (2 days on-site, 3 days WFH)

Our client is seeking a Temporary HR Generalist from the public sector to join their team in Manchester City Centre. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities, including operational and administrative processes, data handling and reporting, and using HR systems to ensure smooth and effective delivery of HR services. With a salary ranging from £180.00 - £200.00 per day, this position provides the chance to work within a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and nurtured.

What you'll do:

• Producing and collating HR data to assist in producing accurate reports and insights to support decision-making.
• Providing generalist HR support across key areas such as recruitment, on-boarding, absence management and workforce planning.
• Managing and maintaining HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Supporting policy and process updates, ensuring compliance with HR regulations and best practices.
• Assisting with project work, such as system updates, or process improvements.

• CIPD qualified or solid experience in a generalist HR role.
• Proficient in using HR systems.
• Strong experience within the public sector.
• Strong experience with ER and IR cases.
• Strong data handling skills with the ability to interpret and present data accurately.
