Job summary

Hope House Children’s Hospices is seeking a Temporary Housekeeping Assistant at Ty Gobaith in Conwy. The role offers 37.5 hours per week and a competitive salary of £24,786 - £25,281 per annum. Immediate start is possible pending pre-employment checks, with a closing date of 16 October 2026.

The hospice emphasises a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, maintaining infection control standards and supporting the care

Qualifications

• Dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Collaborate with Care Team to support users and their families.
• Flexible, methodical, and able to work as part of a small hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• To closely work alongside Care Team colleagues in the delivery of support to users and their families
• Adopt a flexible approach to daily duties as necessary, providing a seamless support service to the hospice
• Ensure infection control measures are followed meticulously
• Work positively and methodically as part of a small hospitality team
• To provide a hygienic environment in which users and their families feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay
