Rotherham Hospice is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our care team. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across inpatient and hospice at home services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and requires 37.5 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift, permanent contract, with a salary of £24,853 per annum. Experience in healthcare or hospitality cleaning is preferred.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and reliability in performing cleaning tasks.

Mansioni

• Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and office spaces according to established cleaning protocols and schedules.
• Linen and Laundry Services: Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and bedding, ensuring they are clean and properly stored for patients and staff.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Infection Control Practices: Adhere to infection control standards, including hand hygiene and PPE.
• Assistance with Special Projects: Help with deep cleaning tasks and seasonal cleaning activities.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
