Job description

King's High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teacher of Chemistry from January 2027, covering the maternity leave of an existing member of staff.

The primary duties of the Teacher of Chemistry are to deliver high-quality Chemistry, inspire a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and contribute fully to the academic and co-curricular life of the school.

The post will be attractive to someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive mindset and a forward-thinking approach to the teaching of Chemistry. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department.

The successful candidate will also work report directly to the Head of Chemistry.
