Berry Recruitment is currently hiring for a dedicated and experienced Temporary Finance Assistant to work for a Technology company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Role: Temporary Finance Assistant

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 17:30)

Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Finance Assistant:

  • Facilitate smooth operation of UK and USA financial systems
  • Process supplier invoices and payments
  • Assist with payroll and credit control
  • Contribute to monthly management accounts
  • Perform general office management duties as part of the team
  • Ensure efficient office operations

About you:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of financial/bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of Purchase Ledger and Expenses processing
  • Experience or willingness to learn Payroll systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
  • Preferably experience in a technology/software company environment
