An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing online fashion business on a temporary basis. Supporting the Finance and Wholesale teams during a busy trading period, this role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a solid grounding in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
  • Generate and follow up on customer invoices using Excel
  • Upload approved invoices to accounting software
  • Process supplier invoices accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation is in place
  • Help manage individual customer accounts alongside the Finance team
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or invoicing issues with customers directly
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Strong Excel proficiency - confident with data entry and formulas
  • Sound understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role, experience working in a product or retail environment (preferred but not essential), and a flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
