Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in East Bergholt, Suffolk is seeking a Temporary Self Employed Delivery Driver for 6 weeks starting 7th November. The role pays £2.45 per drop, with deliveries ideally on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays in the PM.

You will collect prescriptions from the pharmacy and deliver to patients, nursing and residential homes, while upholding high customer service standards. This position offers a dynamic team environment within a well-established pharmacy network, and prior delivery

Qualifications

• Delivery assignment experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional presentation required.

Responsibilities

• To collect prescriptions from the Pharmacy and deliver to patients as detailed in the standard operating procedure.
• To ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure an audit trail is available.
• You may be asked to pick up Prescriptions from other Pharmacies in the area.
• To work to high standards of customer service.
• To presenting a professional image of the Company by acting as an ambassador.
• To ensure all company procedures and protocols are followed.
• To respect the confidentiality of information concerning customers and adhere to the Data Protection Act.

We are looking for experienced Delivery Drivers to join us and continue our journey in making positive changes to the community and the patients we help. GPhC accredited Delivery Driver Course is advantageous but not essential.
As a Delivery Driver you will report directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.
