Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid credit control experience within a commercial environment.
• Ability to negotiate outstanding aged debt and maximise payments.
• Good keyboard skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Outgoing, self-starting and organised with attention to detail.
• Team player with flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Proactively chase all debt owing to the company by telephone and email.
• Protect the company at all times against credit risk.
• Know your customer, build and document a knowledge profile of your key customers.
• Deal with customer queries and seek resolutions.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues preventing payment.
• Manage your unallocated cash on a pre-emptive basis.
• Identify slow paying or potential bad debt customers and monitor regularly.
• Issue statements to customers as required.
• Manage daily debt report.
• Ad-hoc administration duties.
