Job summary

We are recruiting a reliable Cleaner to work at a site in Derby (postcode DE21 6AW). The position is a temp covering vacancy with ASAP start and finish date 20th November 2026.

Duties include cleaning and sanitising surfaces, vacuuming floors, emptying bins, and replenishing consumables while following health and safety procedures. Experience preferred; must be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work to a high standard.
• Able to work independently and follow site procedures.
• A DBS check is required for this role.
• Valid Right to Work documentation must be provided where required at induction.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Cleaning washrooms and communal areas where required.
• Replenishing consumables and reporting stock or maintenance issues.
• Following site-specific health, safety and security procedures.
