Job summary

DWP site in Spennymoor is seeking a Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and presentable environment in line with site procedures. The role is temporary, starting ASAP, and involves general cleaning tasks across floors, washrooms and common areas.

Applicants should have prior cleaning experience, be reliable and punctual, and able to work independently while adhering to health, safety and security rules. BPSS screening and Right to Work documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• BPSS screening is required for the DWP environment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces and touchpoints.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
• Clean washrooms and communal areas.
• Replenish consumables and report maintenance issues.
• Follow site health, safety and security procedures.
