ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Building Engineer in Market Harborough to support planned and reactive maintenance within a prison environment. The role is full-time on a temporary basis and pays £20-£25 per hour.

You will raise, update and close remedial tasks in the CAFM system, ensure critical parts are available for statutory tasks, perform general maintenance, and handle security and fire safety checks including CCTV, alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and water risk

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with CAFM software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Raise, update and close remedial tasks within the CAFM system.
• Ensure all critical parts are available for statutory tasks.
• Carry out general and semi-skilled maintenance activities.
• Undertake maintenance of CCTV and alarm systems.
• Carry out monthly checks of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment.
• Perform water risk assessment-related tests and emergency lighting checks.
• Check and test smoke vents as required.
• Undertake other duties commensurate with the role.
