Job summary

Search Consultancy in York is seeking an Assistant Accountant for an office-based, full-time role. You will support the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities and assist with daily financial tasks within a collaborative finance team.

The role requires AAT Level 4 or progression toward it, strong Excel skills, and excellent attention to detail. A stable, full-time position with practical exposure to VAT, accruals and audits is offered.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualification or working towards AAT Level 4 (essential).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established organisation in York. Working You will play a key role in supporting the preparation of management accounts across multiple entities within the group.
