Job summary

Manpower UK in Glasgow (G21 1AA) is recruiting a temporary 7.5t Driver to support a national logistics organisation. You will operate safely on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery points, handling mail and parcels to meet schedules.

These roles offer various shifts, an hourly rate of £17.02–£26.99, and ongoing temporary work with full PPE and support from the recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (C1) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 1 year of 7.5t driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• No more than 6 penalty points and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between DCs and delivery points.
• Transport mail and parcels and meet delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load/unload goods and ensure security of all items.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Maintain communication with operations team and follow policies.
