Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting for 7.5t drivers to join a leading logistics and distribution organisation based in Cardiff. The role offers ongoing temporary work with varied shifts and competitive hourly pay in a nationwide operation.

You will transport mail, parcels and freight on planned routes, perform vehicle checks, and maintain accurate records. Candidates must have a UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and relevant experience, with a strong focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
