Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking an experienced Payroll Generalist to support payroll operations for approximately 8000 UK employees across multiple locations. You will liaise with stakeholders and create and manipulate payroll journals for finance leads.

Maintain Hibob UK Payroll, assist employees with queries, and support pension/benefit administration while keeping up to date with payroll compliance and legal updates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience.
• Experience managing high-volume, multi-location payroll operations.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance rules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Hibob (HRIS & Payroll).
• Familiarity with auditor requests.
• Working with and understanding payroll journals.

Responsibilities

• Support the Payroll Manager with day-to-day payroll processing for approximately 8000 employees.
• Liaise with various stakeholders in the business relating to payroll activity.
• Creation & manipulation of payroll journals for finance leads across the business.
• Maintain and troubleshoot payroll systems (Hibob/UK Payroll).
• Assisting employees with queries
• Support the UK Reward & Benefits Manager with benefit & pension administration
• Work with Auditors to provide payroll data as required.
• Keep up to date with legal updates, and best practices in payroll operations.
