Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations for around 8,000 UK employees across multiple locations. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and handling high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the Payroll Manager, liaise with stakeholders, manage payroll journals, and ensure smooth audit responses. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with Hibob.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-location payroll operations.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance rules.
• Experience with Hibob (HRIS & Payroll).
• Familiarity with auditor requests.
• Ability to manipulate payroll journals.
• Keeps up to date with legal updates and best practices in payroll operations.
