Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming Minehead secondary school on a full-time basis. This is a busy temp-to-perm opportunity, with PE across KS3/KS4 and a small allocation of DT, with pre-planned schemes and supportive resources.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent and has experience teaching PE in secondary settings. You will manage classes effectively and adapt to diverse learning needs within a collaborative school team.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident adapting to different learning needs and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a small number of DT lessons using pre-planned schemes of work and resources.
• Foster positive relationships with students and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive school team and be prepared for a temp-to-perm opportunity.
