Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is recruiting a Temp Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team in Stoke on a temporary basis with potential for permanent employment. You will support day-to-day payroll tasks, process timesheets and ensure accurate payroll data entry within an established payroll function.

The role requires strong data handling, attention to detail and comfort with external payroll providers. Office-based, full-time hours with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration or similar finance role.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented with data handling skills.
• Confident working with timesheets and payroll data.
• Familiar with computerised HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the payroll function.
• Collect, check and input payroll data accurately and efficiently.
• Process and review employee timesheet information.
• Work with managers to ensure timesheets are complete and correct.
• Check timesheet information against reports and identify discrepancies.
• Input payroll information into the HR system.
• Prepare and collate payroll data for submission to external provider.
• Liaise with internal managers to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records and confidentiality.
