We’re supporting a leading Commercial and Corporate Property and Facilities Management Consultancy. Our client is seeking a Senior Costs Manager to join their team in Nottingham. Candidates should hold relevant chartership qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Facilities Management. Applicants from the wider Midlands are welcome, and flexible working hours from 16 to 37.5 hours per week are available, supporting a good work/life balance.

The Cost Manager will:

1. Challenge technical diagnoses, material specifications, and scope of works, liaising with contractors and operational teams to ensure appropriate repairs are carried out efficiently.
2. Conduct site visits to assess service requirements and provide recommendations.
3. Manage budgets and oversee financial aspects of projects.
4. Offer expert advice on quantity surveying or facilities management, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Skills & Experience

• Chartership or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Facilities Management.
• Experience in cost management within property, construction, or facilities sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to conduct site assessments and prepare detailed reports.

The candidate must pass a BPSS check, requiring 5 years of continuous UK address history.
