Job summary

Rapier is looking for a Class 1 Driver for a temp-to-perm position based in the Wednesbury area. Typical Start Time is 04:00am, with a Monday to Friday pattern and a total shift length of 8-10 hours.

The role involves nationwide transport of steel parts, trunking of steel products, and handling deliveries and collections within a dynamic logistics operation. Applicants should have at least 12 months Class 1 experience, 90 days of tachograph road time, and 6 months of steel experience with coils

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience on Class 1.
• At least 90 days of road experience on tacho.
• Minimum 6 months steel experience with coils and sheets.
• Ratchet strapping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting steel parts across the country.
• Trunking steel parts.
• Shift length 8-10 hours.
