Job summary

Staffline in Huntingdon is recruiting a Warehouse Technician to operate the automated palletising system, carry out routine maintenance, and help keep the warehouse running safely.

You will identify basic faults, clear jams, monitor consumables, and record faults and actions, working with the Engineering team to minimise downtime.

The role requires standing for long shifts, a willingness to work 4 on/4 off days or nights, and a commitment to health and safety; full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work a 4 on/4 off shift pattern on days or nights.
• Basic mechanical/technical understanding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the automated palletising system to ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning sensors and checking air pressures.
• Identify and resolve basic faults, clear jams, and escalate complex issues to Engineering.
• Monitor and replenish consumables to maintain smooth operation of automated equipment.
• Accurately record faults and maintenance actions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
