Job summary

RE Recruitment Group is representing a long-standing client based in Stonehouse, offering a full-time, temporary Technical Coordinator role. The position focuses on supporting Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, maintaining documentation, and assisting with audits.

The role requires experience in food manufacturing or technical environments, HACCP/GMP knowledge, strong organisation, and good communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing, quality, or technical environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety and quality standards (HACCP/GMP).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain records and manage technical documentation.
• Good communication and collaboration across departments.
• Proactive approach supporting a busy technical team.
• Experience with BRC standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (HACCP/GMP).
• Maintain technical documentation, specifications, traceability records, and quality data.
• Assist with audits, ensuring BRC compliance and customer requirements.
• Support investigations into non-conformances and quality issues, including root cause analysis.
• Coordinate product testing, sampling and quality assessments, escalate out-of-spec results.
• Support new product/process development, including launches and specifications.
• Monitor site-wide food safety, hygiene and quality standards, promote continuous improvement.
• Provide administrative and technical support to the wider Technical team.
