Job summary

Howells Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager to oversee social housing refurbishment projects in Grimsby. Temporary contract for approximately 5–6 weeks with a £250 day rate, overseeing contractors and ensuring delivery within timescales.

You will set up RAMS and Construction Phase Plans, supervise site teams and ensure safety and compliance on every shift. The ideal candidate has SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and asbestos awareness.

Qualifications

• Site Manager with experience delivering social housing refurbishment projects.
• Experience managing planned maintenance in social housing.
• Ability to set up RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and lead site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage contractors delivering refurbishment works in Grimsby.
• Inspect properties pre- and post-works to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage sub-contractors, hold progress meetings and oversee day-to-day delivery of the programme.
• Ensure works are completed safely and on time within stated timescales.

Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Maintenance

Based in Grimsby

Full time, temporary - around 5 /6 weeks

£250 day rate

We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment works in Grimsby. This role is a temporary position for around 5/6 weeks.

As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day to day delivery of the programme.

We're looking for an established Site Manager who has previously worked as a Site Manager for a main contractor, covering planned maintenance projects in Social Housing properties. You will be able to set up all Health and Safety documentation including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and have a proven track record in leading sites teams including Assistant Site Managers, RLO's and in-house labour.

You will also hold relevant qualifications including:
