Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited in Boston, Lincolnshire, is recruiting a Site Manager to lead social housing refurbishment works. You will supervise contractors, ensure safety and pace, and deliver within the programme timescales.

The role is full-time but temporary for 3 weeks, with potential extension, and pays £250 per day. The candidate will manage sub-contractors, inspect properties pre- and post-work, lead progress meetings, and oversee day-to-day site delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS card is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Manual Handling training is required.
• Asbestos Awareness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage contractors to deliver works safely and on programme.
• Take responsibility for sub-contractor management and daily site operations.
• Inspect properties pre- and post-works and report progress in meetings.
• Lead progress meetings and coordinate day-to-day delivery of the programme.

Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Maintenance

Based in Boston, Lincolnshire

Full time, temporary - 3 weeks with the possibility to extend

£250 day rate

We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment works in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role is a temporary position for 3 weeks with the potential to extend.

As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day to day delivery of the programme.

We're looking for an established Site Manager who has previously worked as a Site Manager for a main contractor, covering planned maintenance projects in Social Housing properties. You will be able to set up all Health and Safety documentation including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and have a proven track record in leading sites teams including Assistant Site Managers, RLO's and in-house labour.
