New Appointments Group is seeking an experienced Payroll & Pension Officer to join the Sittingbourne-based Business Team. The role focuses on accurate monthly payroll processing and pension administration across the organisation, ensuring statutory compliance and timely delivery of payroll duties.

The ideal candidate will manage starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime and tax codes while maintaining LGPS processes.

• Experience in payroll administration and pension processes.
• Strong organisational and numerical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly payroll across the organisation with accuracy and deadlines.
• Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, tax codes and pension deductions.
• Prepare statutory year-end returns and P45s/P60s/P11Ds.
• Respond to employee payroll queries and liaise with HMRC and external stakeholders.
• Administer LGPS processes including contributions and annual returns.
• Reconcile payroll outputs with pension contributions and finance accounts.
• Maintain confidential payroll and pension records.
• Produce payroll reports and support improvement of payroll procedures.
