Location: Meadowcroft School, Wakefield, WF1 4AD
Salary: £27,625 per annum
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Meadowcroft School in Wakefield.
The post holder will assist the Facilities Manager in undertaking general maintenance, security, porterage, and cleaning services at various sites, including statutory checks such as asbestos visual checks, fire alarm weekly and periodic tests, and water checks. Maintain health and safety paperwork and online systems in accordance with policies and standards. Maintain site security, including opening and closing procedures, and be a key holder for emergency call outs. Liaise with alarm companies, undertake periodic checks, and place orders for materials. Be a member of the emergency and fire marshal group, maintaining relevant qualifications, and manage school vehicles, ensuring they are in good order.
