Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting an HGV Driver/Loader in Basingstoke for a temporary contract with usual hours 06:00-14:30, Monday to Friday. You will transport goods, load/unload, and support community services in the public sector.

The role requires a valid HGV licence (Class 2+), CPC, and previous driving/loading experience. You will work in a team, follow safety procedures, and contribute to reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence (Class 2 or above).
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Experience in driving/loading within public services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently in line with road safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring items are secured and transported safely.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage.
