Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting experienced HGV 1 Drivers to work in Basingstoke for a world-leading distribution company. You will deliver stock to retail stores, follow a structured delivery schedule and provide excellent customer service at each location.

Ad hoc shifts including weekends, overtime after 8 hours and weekend rate of £25.56 per hour. You will perform daily vehicle safety checks and complete delivery documentation while maintaining compliance with tachograph rules.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (No more than 6 points).
• HGV 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving.
• CPC card and Digital Tacho Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner.
• Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required.
• Accurately complete all delivery documentation.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with team members.
• Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules.
